The Creative Journey
Creativity is a wonderful malaise. It follows you no matter where you go, sneaks up on you when you least expect it. I feel qualified to count myself one of its victims.
Yet, every so often, creativity opens a door to that next level in life where expression can give way to deep contemplation, enlightenment and—perhaps—just a little adventure.
That is the purpose of this website.
It is a central staging point for my creative projects in writing, music and digital content.
The creative bug goes back to childhood. From writing a short historical fiction at age 10 about the Gold Rush; to playing in bands in adolescence and adulthood; to a meandering career in print and online journalism, a creative streak has dogged me every step of the way. Even now, amidst a very purposeful second career, I find it necessary to have a home for these ventures.
